During your visit, our systems automatically save the so-called logs - system event logs containing information such as: the time of your visit, the IP address of your device, the URL addresses of the viewed pages and downloaded files on our portal, information about your web browser. Additionally, the systems collect anonymous data such as: the number of visits, the country from which the connection was made to our website, etc.
Using the API service does not require registration, however for API security reasons, there are limits imposed on the number of requests. Users who need higher limits can register and obtain an automatically generated personal API key.
Regarding registered users, we also collect e-mail address in order to provide the key necessary for the registration process.
The data collected in the log files are used solely for the purpose of administering the API. Any user data obtained through the API are intended for the use of the Statistics Poland and are not shared with any third party.

The system logs saved during your visit are stored for an indefinite period of time as auxiliary material used to generate statistics helpful in administering.
